To return an item for a refund or store credit.

• Only items purchased directly from our website are eligible for return & exchange.
• Orders are eligible for return within 45 days of purchase. Store credit or exchange is available for returns made within 120 days of purchase. 
• The cost of the return label will be deducted from your refund or credit.
• Three days after we receive the return your refund or credit will be processed.

If you would like to exchange one of our items for another size, pattern or product, follow the instructions below.

Instant Exchanges

Need a different size, color, or product? With Instant Exchange, your replacement item can ship immediately, before we even receive your return.

How it works:

• Select "Exchange" when starting your return
• Choose your replacement item right away
• Provide a credit card for a temporary authorization (you won't be charged as long as the original item is returned within 14 days)
• We ship your replacement right away

Prefer a refund? You can still return your item for store credit or a refund to your original form of payment.

What happens if I don’t send the original item back?
If your return isn’t received within 14 days, your card will be charged for the cost of the replacement item.

Can I return a gift?
Yes. Gift returns can be processed through the portal — just select “Returning a Gift?” at the start of the process.

Need a better fit? Smathers & Branson belts can be extended by 1 or 2 inches, shortened to any size (odd sizes included), or refreshed with new leather tabs without changing the length. This service is $55 and typically takes about 2–3 weeks.

1) Use these measuring instructions to determine the most accurate belt size. It is always best to measure using one of the first two options.

2) Fill out our Tailoring Form and include payment information in the credit card section for a $55 fee. Please send the belt back without the wooden box. Occasionally, when shortening a belt, motifs may be partially or fully removed by the alternation. If you have a preference for which end of the belt to alter, please mention it on the form.

3) Mail the belt and Tailoring Form to the address below with the carrier of your choosing. Please do not include the wooden belt box. We recommend saving your tracking number.
